Project Showcase

Subdivision Entry

The first of four phased improvements at the entryway to a subdivision, this project involved building three terraced retaining walls and adding trees and irrigation.

The retaining walls were constructed using a interlocking block system and capstones. Each wall measures 3-feet high by 225-feet in length.

Between the walls, more than 144 cubic yards of ox-rock was laid down over poly liner to provide cover. Austrian pines and Scotch pines complete the landscaping, irrigated with self-contained automatic timers.

Given the slope of the site, a high-lift stretch end-loader was used to place material. The lift's 30-foot extended reach "was designed for" this site.
