| Raised Backyard Patio This homeowner sought a raised patio that would afford better views of downtown Reno and provide a venue for entertaining. The 15-foot diameter patio was built up using interlocking blocks and is surfaced with interlocking pavers. The same materials were used to construct a landing along the back of the house that connects to the patio. Additional work included the installation of a lawn, irrigation and decorative rock. To improve the condition of existing soil, topsoil and humus blend was rototilled into the soil before the addition of sod. Click the images for larger views. |
